English – French
SPRING—SUMMER—AUTUMN—WINTER IN MONTRÉAL.
DISCOVER A MULTI-FACETED METROPOLIS!
These courses are offered to those who are 50 years or older and looking to improve their skills in English or French as a foreign language alongside others with similar interests.
- Montréal stands out from other Canadian cities for many reasons, only one of which is its rich heritage in architecture. Numerous monuments, plazas, churches and statues testify to three centuries of history and can be found throughout the 360 km2 Montréal occupies.
- Another thing that captivates visitors is the diversity of Montréal’s neighborhoods. Cross on paved streets from one end of the city to the city’s historical center and, just a few meters away, find yourself transported into modernity with a tree-lined sky. Continue a bit further and soon you are in China town!
Montréal is a multi-faceted city that will not fail to delight you. Indeed, no one can deny that Montréal has one of the most active cultural scenes on the planet. Besides concerts, theatre productions, operas, and comedy performances all year long, Montreal is home to more than 30 museums, a botanical garden rich in colors, numerous green spaces such as Parc Mont-Royal and Parc Maissonneuve as well as a subterranean shopping area with 2,000 shops and businesses totalling 43 km2 and serviced by 13 metro stations.
